Epic Las Cruces Entertainment Venue Closes For Good
A very cool bar, restaurant and entertainment staple in downtown Las Cruces has closed its doors forever.
With almost no warning, the venue locked its doors after nearly a 6 year run and called it a day citing "challenging times" as the reason it, and other downtown businesses, have had to shut down.
"It just seemed like between the unfortunate 'who would've known' pandemic, and then the labor shortages, and then inflation, and loss of discretionary income, it just really seemed to take effect" said CEO Max Bower to ABC-7 Tuesday. - KVIA
The venue, Amador Live, featured several different areas for folks to eat, drink and enjoy live musical acts and other entertainment like Amador Patio & Bar, Broken Spoke Taphouse, Jax Rooftop Bar, Club 575 Cruces Crafted Cocktails and an awesome "event" lawn.
Amador's was a great spot to hang out, eat, drink or enjoy a myriad of live shows and events like car shows, fundraisers and concerts from local, regional and national acts like Bone Thugs 'N Harmony.
Owner Max Bower told KVIA that, despite the tough times, he's hopeful that Amador Live will live again at some point in the future.
"It's still a very new facility, I think it still has a lot of potential, and with the way it was designed, it has a lot of ability to be compatible with a lot of other uses with very little changing," said Bower.
"I think it's definitely something that has a future, I think downtown Las Cruces is far from over, it's just going to be one of those things where we have to get through these rough patches, but I think we'll get there," he added. - KVIA
