Bacon. Not only delicious -- but great at bringing out dudes' competitive sides.

With the 2016 Sun City BaconFest fast approaching, we're teaming up with the gang at Art 15 Clothing (who also do the highly entertaining, no-holds-barred Drinkin' Bros. podcast) to perform some extreme bacon-eating challenges. Who better, right?

We'll do one challenge a week -- every Thursday -- running up to BaconFest on April 17 in Union Plaza. Each challenge will feature one of our BaconFest vendors, so you'll also get a good idea of the eats you'll see at the festival.

This week, on March 17, we're headed to The Garden to pit the Art 15 crew against Texas' longest bacon-sushi rolls. Starting at 7 p.m., the team will have 15 minutes to destroy that roll. Puke cans will be nearby. Bacon and sushi, huh? Will wonders never cease? (And since it also happens to be St. Patrick's Day, we have it on good authority green beer may be involved. Your mileage may vary.)

Challenge starts at 6:30 p.m.  Be there or be...vegetarian.

So, look, these are all big, fit dudes with military backgrounds and a let's-blow-s**t-up attitude. We're not entirely sure what challenge we could pit them against that they couldn't topple. I mean, for starters, we're pretty sure they know their way around a pile of bacon.

But then again, at the same time, the Art 15 crowd is pretty unpredictable, as you might remember from last year's visit with All That Remains.

Oh, and also this:

So, you know. Maybe don't miss out on this?
