This Sunday we have another closure happening in west El Paso, but this one will just be affecting Mesa Street drivers. Find out how you commute will be affected. Starting at 3 a.m. on Sunday, get ready for more congested roads and headaches on the west side of El Paso. The Go 10 Project will be having another one of their 27 hours freeways closures for you to enjoy (please note the sarcasm).

During this closure, North Mesa Street will close at I-10 West North Mesai Street exit. Travelers will exit at Mesa then re-enter the freeway at Redd Road. The I-10 Westbound North Mesa entrance ramp will be closed until further notice.

While this Sunday closure is sure to give some west siders headaches, the good news is North Mesa Street in the area will finally be finished! Businesses will get their driveways back and the streets will be in their final configuration.

To get through this heavily trafficked area, motorists can use Doniphan, North Mesa Street, and McNutt. You can find out more information on the Go 10 El Paso Twitter and website.
