For those of us who grew up here in El Paso, it sometimes is hard to see what a great city we live in. For years I was stuck in the "there's nothing to do here" mentality- just as I'm sure many are as well.

However, El Paso is full of things to do and all it takes is you getting out of that mentality and just exploring what the Sun City has to offer. To fully appreciate what we have, all it takes is a simple YouTube search of El Paso and you'll see how great so many vloggers portray El Paso.

But, you've clicked on this article which means you want to know what there is to do from an actual El Pasoan- me! Between spring break and summer break, there's bound to be folks coming in from out of town- and some of your very own family members who will appoint you as a tour guide of the Sun City.

Sure, you can do the usual- take them to Chico's Tacos then drive up to Scenic Drive to see the city at night- or even check out a Chihuahua's or Locomotive game at Southwest University Park. We might be in the desert but we still have a botanical garden! It's over 52 acres of land, perfect for sightseeing and even more amazing for bird-watchers in El Paso, Texas!
