Did you know you can take a tour of the Plaza Theater in Downtown El Paso for FREE? Yeah, I didn't know either- well, you can.

The Plaza Theatre held weekly, public tours for free, but when the pandemic hit, the tours stopped. Afterwards, the curtain closed at the Plaza Theatre and remained closed for quite some time- even for some of the bigger events we all love like The Plaza Classic Film Fest.

Slowly, but surely, the Plaza Theatre began to see light again, as events began once again across the borderland. Musicals began making their way back to the stage of the Plaza, we even got to see our favorite holiday movies this past WinterFest.

Now, you can get to see the Plaza Theatre in a different light. Tours have made a comeback and will resume this week!

Due to ongoing concerns for COVID-19, you will need tor register- you can do so here. It is first come first served, so you will want to register as soon as you can.

Tours are every Tuesday (March 8, 22, 29 and April 5) an start promptly at noon. I have never been to a tour of the Plaza Theatre (I didn't even know they had tours) but I'm sure that it is super fascinating to find out the history of this iconic theater. You may even run into a ghost or two.

You can also check out upcoming events by clicking here. The Sun City is welcoming back events and I know I'm excited to see what else the Plaza Theatre has in store.
