Trustees for the Ysleta Independent School District are debating whether to put a $430 million bond issue on the ballot in November. Monday night, the trustees discussed the plan, which maintains a lot of the same projects that voters rejected in a larger bond proposal in May. Several trustees say the bond is still too large and will be rejected again. The board decided to pick up the discussion again tomorrow at a special meeting, and has until next week to decide whether to put the measure on the ballot.

The timeline and outlook for the project will be discussed in detail Friday at a meeting of the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
