What Would It Take For You to Go to an NMSU Football Game?

NMSU has had a rough football season so far. Their team is so dreadful they were the only win for the atrocious UTEP Miners so far this season. Then, the president of the university offered prizes to entice students to attend their games.

THEN, when they chose a winner it was a disabled Iraq war veteran...who they disqualified from receiving the prize.  I guess PR can't backfire any worse than that, right? No, wait...it totally can!  A group of University of New Mexico fans heard about it and raised the money to give to the student/war hero.  NOW, the PR disaster can be considered complete.
