Want to watch "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" with Pee Wee Herman? Here's your chance!

Paul Reuben, aka Pee Wee Herman, will be bringing his Pee Wee's 35th-anniversary tour across the United States in 2020 to celebrate his hit movie "Pee Wee's Big Adventure." Pee Wee's Big Adventure came out in 1985 to generally positive reviews and has become a cult classic. The film was also the directorial debut of Tim Burton, who went on to direct other classic cult films like "Beetlejuice," "Edward Scissorhands," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," and many others.

Paul Reuben will be touring the US hosting private viewings of "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" and hosting a Q&A with fans. There will be three Texas stops on his tour and of course, one of those dates will be San Antonio. Pee Wee will be coming to Texas on:

  • March 5th- San Antonio at the Aztec Theater
  • March 6th- Austin at ACL Live at the Moody Theater
  • March 8th- Dallas at the Majestic Theater

Tickets for these dates go on sale this Friday, December 13th at 10 a.m. local time. You can purchase your tickets through the Ticketmaster website. Also worth mentioning is that these shows will be using the Yondr pouches, so there will be no photography, videos or recording of the movie or the live Q&A after the show. Yondr pouches are pouches used by the audience that lock their cell phones during the movie/concert/performance so that they cannot be accessed. Find out more about the Yondr pouches on their website. Check out the trailer for Pee Wee's Big Adventure above:
