The Mystery Surrounding The New Smash Burgers In El Paso

To say El Paso loves burgers is an understatement. With places like Charcoaler, Papa Erics, or Punk Burgers, we have many places to satisfy our cravings. Months ago, the old Wendy's at the corner of Mesa & Sun Bowl closed down & we were speculating...what exactly would open up in its place. Well, eagle-eyed residents noticed that it IS indeed a burger place. And it says Smash Burgers.

Or... is it Smash Juicy Burgers?

The Mystery Behind Smash Juicy Burger

See the mystery comes from the fact that... as you can tell by the sign. It doesn't says Smash Burgers. it says Smash JUICY Burgers. As noted by the giant red JUICY in between.

So when you look at the sign, one has to wonder... is this related to the national chain Smashburger? There IS a Smashburger location in El Paso located on Ft Bliss. However, when calling the place, I asked if they were opening up a 2nd location in town. The people said they weren't. So after hearing that I'm to believe this is NOT to be associated with the national chain Smashburger. It's something completely different.

So... what exactly is it?

Well after doing some digging and searching online, I can't really tell. There's no social media page that posted about the location opening up, there's no phone number on the building to call for more information.

It's just a building that says. Smash Juicy Burgers. Or maybe it's Juicy Smash Burgers... or maybe we're completely wrong and it's actually Juicy Burgers Smash.

In any case, the old Wendy's has turned into a NEW burger place and we'll have to wait to see more contact information about this place so we can enjoy SMASH...some Juicy burgers.
