There's nothing worst than a lag in the middle of your video game!

Last month, PlayStation Network was down for over 70,000 users causing several gamers to voice their frustrations on social media!

But having an entire network down for gamers isn't the only time that can cause a fit, even just a little lag can cause several rage quits!

For those who are unfamiliar with the lingo, rage quitting in video games is when a player suddenly- and angrily- leaves a game due to frustration, often before the match or level is completed. Rage quitting can happen for various reasons, such as losing repeatedly, encountering unfair gameplay, getting outplayed by opponents, or, as Liquid Web reports is the most common cause of rage quitting, lag issues!

Lagging in video games refers to a delay or slowdown in the game's responsiveness, making actions feel sluggish or out of sync. Now that we're all up to date on the lingo, it's not uncommon for gamers to experience lagging as Liquid Web reports that 95% of gamers have experienced lagging while gaming.

While on average, gamers reported that they're willing to tolerate at least 45 minutes of lagging, turns out that gamers in Texas rank #1 in the country for the most rage quits due to these lag issues- especially in Dallas, where, according to Liquid Web, 95% of players report experiencing lag!

Liquid Web’s exclusive study of 1,000 gamers reveals that for Texans, every second of lag feels like a high noon showdown (with their routers). And the number one game causing the most rage quits? That honor goes to "Call of Duty".

You can read more about Liquid Web's study here, and remember, if you have a gamer in your life and suddenly hear an agonizing scream, check the router immediately!
