It's bleak, it's dismal, it's Russian.

The 2014 Winter Olympic games will begin on February 7th, in Sochi, Russia. In an attempt to get Russian officials to address the abuse happening to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and activists, Human Rights Watch has released this video. I do warn you, this video is incredibly violent but powerful.

Check out this Russian video in which an old man is trying to cross the street and he is hit by a truck's side mirror. Apparently old people in Russia are made of steel because the old man isn't even knocked down when he's hit by the truck.

Check out this compilation of videos taken during the meteorite crash in Russia and you'll stare in wonder...at the number of dash-cams they have in Russia! Everybody has a camera -- mounted, hand-held, wherever -- and they're all just running! The Russian police force is known as the "militsia." It's also known for being corrupt. So in a rebranding effort, the Russian government decided to change the name to "politsia"...which obviously does nothing to solve the corruption problem.
