Texas DOES get earthquakes & here are the cities you're most likely to feel one.

Wednesday morning, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake sent shockwaves across the region, causing some half-asleep locals to question whether they were still dreaming or whether a ghostly spirit was trying to steal them.

Natural disasters are a common occurrence in the southwestern United States, specifically in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

A 5.4 earthquake near Pecos was felt by thousands of people 100 miles away. Per a seismologist, at UTEP we could get even bigger quakes in the future.

That big truck you felt roll past your house yesterday? It wasn't a truck ... it was a freakin' earthquake.

"When do we get our stimulus check?"

Apparently, another part of El Paso felt something that had some people concerned on Thursday afternoon.

El Paso, Texas has had its fair share of natural disasters in the past.
