Staind frontman Aaron Lewis delivered an onstage rant for the ages against a group of unruly concertgoers at Rockfest in Kansas City.

Staind vocalist and resident ‘Country Boy’ Aaron Lewis will dial it back from 11 for ‘The Road,’ his down-home debut album which has just been announced for release this summer.

It might seem unfathomable that a high-profile hard rock vocalist moonlights as a burgeoning country singer, but then again, few aggressive music singers possess the breadth and scope of talent of Staind‘s Aaron Lewis. He just released his brand new solo song ‘Anywhere But Here,’ which features twangy guitars and his inimitable, soul stirring and richly emotional vocals.

Aaron Lewis (staind) Has gone from one extreme to the other in his music career. Aaron Lewis, then (Mudshovel) and now (Country Boy).

Finally Staind is recording what they call their heaviest album in a long time.  No "Outside" or "It's Been Awhile" on this one.  Heavy and loud.
