If you've seen the disclaimer on Freeform right before "The 700 Club" comes on, it's probably made you laugh. I remember when I was younger, I would always watch ABC Family late into the night and enjoyed seeing the reruns of some of my favorite sitcoms. But at some point late into the night, the shows would end and there would be a disclaimer on the screen, giving viewers a message saying that the broadcast wasn't from ABC Family, but from the Christian Broadcasting Network. In fact, the original message ("The proceeding program was brought to you by CBN,) was changed in 2008. On August 22nd during The 700 Club, host Pat Robertson called for the assassination of then-Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. By August 29th, a new disclaimer was seen before "The 700 Club" broadcast stating:

"The preceding CBN telecast does not reflect the views of ABC Family"

Well, it seems since the channel switched over to FreeForm, the channel has become even wittier when it comes to their disclaimers before Pat Robertson's "The 700 Club." The new disclaimers were brought to my attention by Twitter user Stephanie Guerra who had this to say about the new disclaimers:

Has anybody else ever tripped on the disclaimer before the 700 Club @FreeFormTV shows? I heard there's been other ones giving @adultswim a run for their money.

This made me wonder what these messages said that were so funny. I don't have cable anymore and can't see what is being shown on the channel. So I went to Twitter to see what other disclaimers were out there for me to see. And let me tell you, they're just as hilarious as I expected.

So, if the channel seems so against the things that are being said on the The 700 Club program, why do they continue airing it? Well, it's pretty simple.
