El Paso Has Some Wacky Signs

There are signs all over El Paso telling you where to go, what to do, what not to do, how to do things, when to do things, etc. Some of them are a little odd.

I understand why we need some of these signs. Some are up for safety reasons or they explain rules or laws for example. Others set a policy that makes things go smoother or explains how something should be done.

Some are funny though and some are weird ... others just make you go, WTH?

The song "Signs" said it best: "Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs - blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind. Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign"? They are everywhere and some of them, whether they relate to a big deal or something minor, make you look twice.

I've seen a bunch around El Chuco that made me stop and think, "do people really need to be told that"?

Some have so much info on them, you don't even read it all like this pool sign. Although I do appreciate them making it clear that pooping, peeing and blowing your nose in the pool isn't kosher.

Some signs call into question the intelligence of the person who made the sign. Here are a few that caught my eye.
