Years ago, the owner of Stardust Ranch was forced to sell it ... wait 'til you read the reason(s) why.

It took John Edmonds and his wife over a decade but they were finally able to unload their home/ranch/horse rescue facility for around $5 million.

Quite a bit more than the original $1.7 million dollar price tag and the reason the Edmonds wanted off the ranch so bad may well be what drove the price so high.

First, a little about Stardust Ranch ...

The Stardust Ranch sits on 10 acres and features a 3,436 square foot, 5 bedroom, 4 bath home with an electric gate, horse facilities and a swimming pool.

Oh, and ... apparently ... a portal to another universe which aliens use to access the property and give the owners all kinds of grief.

Owner John Edmonds said, in 2017, that he was tired of defending himself, his home and his family from aliens who were constantly trying to abduct them.

Edmonds says he's killed 18 aliens over the years with his trusty samurai sword. It seems their bodies disappear after death so, sorry ... no alien cadavers to gawk at.

The Travel Channel visited Stardust Ranch for an episode of Ghost Adventures. You can view a photo gallery here or watch the episode below.

Some of the craziness Edmonds has experienced:

“They actually levitated her out of the bed in the master chamber and carried her into the parking lot and tried to draw her up into the craft.

Unless you cut the head off and disconnect the antennae, so to speak, they instantly ‘phone home.’ Even with a razor-sharp sword, it is nearly impossible to decapitate them with one swing.” - whiskeyriff.com

If I'd known about this back then ... and had an extra $5 million burning a hole in my pocket ... I totally would have bought this place.
