It seems like the stars at night aren’t the only things that are big and bright dep in the heart of Texas! The Lone Star state is no stranger to strange lights in the sky- in fact, we might be a huge hotspot for UFO sightings! Cue the X-Files theme! From mysterious glowing orbs to unexplained flying objects, Texans across multiple cities have reported more UFO encounters than nearly anywhere else in the country.

It’s worth noting that UFO talk isn’t just for tinfoil hat folks anymore. In fact, it's gotten pretty official. In recent years, Congressional hearings have brought these mysterious sightings into the spotlight- and they even rebranded the whole thing! What we used to call UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) are now referred to as UAPs, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Basically, the government is finally admitting that something weird is out there, they just don’t know what it is either! This seems like a case for Mulder and Scully!

Whether you're a firm believer or just along for the ride, one thing's clear, Texans are seeing something up there! With sightings continuing to roll in and national attention growing, don’t be surprised if your next stargazing night gets a little weird. Do I believe in aliens? Maybe. Maybe not little green men but could there possibly be something out there? Sure! I want to believe, yeah, I’ll stop with the X-Files puns now.
