Scheduled Road Construction And Closures For El Paso This Week

While the city is ecstatic the Border West Expressway is finally open, there is still quite a lot of construction happening on El Paso Roads. We've finally seen some of the major road projects coming to a close, and the improvements are making the commutes home better and better! Still, there are some projects that are just getting started or are getting the finishing touches. To make sure you're not stuck sitting in traffic due to construction on your commute, you've come to the right place. I-10 Connect Project Closures
Mon, September 14, - Thurs, September 17 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

Southbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between I-10 and US 62 (Paisano Drive).

Wed, September 16, & Thurs, September 17 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) will be closed to all traffic at US 54.

East Area Project Closures

Loop 375 Frontage Road Project

Mon, Sept 14 - Sat, Sept 19 (6 am - 4 pm DAILY)

South Americas Avenue (frontage road) northbound to southbound turnaround complete closure at North Loop Drive
South Americas Avenue southbound traffic detour at North Loop Drive

West Area Project Closures

Transmountain Project (Continues)

Transmountain west and eastbound between US-54 and Tom Mays State Park reduced to one lane in both directions. Bike lane closed.

Mesa Rehabilitation Project

Sun, September 13 - Thurs, September 17 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

Mesa northbound between Baltimore and Brentwood complete closure.

Wed, September 16 & Thurs, September 17 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

Mesa southbound between Sunland Park and Festival complete closure.

Mesa Park Interchange Project

Mon, September 14 to Fri, September 18 (7 am - 4 pm)

Executive east and westbound between Mesa and Paisano alternate lane closures.

Bridge Maintenance Project

Sun, September 13 - Thurs, September 17 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

I-10 eastbound between Piedras and Raynor complete closure.
East to westbound turnaround at Piedras and Raynor closed.

Guardrail Repair

Mon, September 14 (9 am - 4 pm)

US-54 southbound between Dyer and Ellerthorpe right lane closed.
US-54 northbound between Sun Valley and MLK/Kenworthy right lane closed with complete MLK/Kenworthy exit ramp closure.

Tues, September 15 (9 am - 4 pm)

Loop 375 westbound at Paisano complete exit ramp closure.
Loop 375 eastbound complete Coles/Paisano exit ramp closure.

Wed, September 16 (9 am - 4 pm)

Dyer southbound between Pheasant and Tiger Eye right lane closed.

Thurs, September 17 (9 am - 4 pm)

US-54 northbound between Cassidy and Railroad right lane closed.
Loop 375 (Transmountain) westbound between Resler and South Desert left lane closed.
South Desert between Graphite and McClintock right lane closed.

Fri, September 18 (9 am - 4 pm)

North Desert between Enchanted Springs and Vinton right lane closed.
IH-10 eastbound between Sunland Park and Mesa Park right lane closed.

Spall Repair

Sunday, September 13 - Thursday, September 17 (9 pm - 5 am NIGHTLY)

I-10 eastbound between Airway and McRae alternating lane closures.
