The White House Correspondents' Association Dinner seemed like it was real success this year. This is the first time in more than two years that the Washington elite gathered for the dinner, because, you know, pandemic.

Also, this is the first time since 2016 that a sitting President has joined in on the Correspondents' dinner. President Trump famously turned down invitations to the dinner while he was in office. Members of the media, officials and even Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson attended the event.

The event was hosted by Trevor Noah, whose speech has gotten both praise and boo's from all sides of the aisle. However, some of his final remarks are being regarded as important and worth remembering. The one thing I remember from his speech? The part where he said "El Paso".

That's right, in his 25 minutes up at the podium, Noah made jokes about Biden, CNN, Fox News and in his final remarks, when he got serious about celebrating the fourth estate- El Paso came up. Check it out below.

In that moment, he mentioned an "unflinching local newscaster in El Paso, Texas" and it made me, and I'm sure many others in the 915 wonder, who is this newscaster?!

Well, now, Robert Holguin is putting our minds to ease and blessed us with this response.

Okay, so it's a little silly. But it is possible that Holguin was who Noah meant, he is one of the most highly regarded anchors in El Paso.

However, in the comments section of his video, some mentioned that it had to be John Purvis! Someone even mentioned that Purvis is known as "Never nervous John Purvis". So now I have to know- which one is the real "unflinching newscaster in El Paso"?

It's also possible that Noah didn't actually mean there really was an unflinching newscaster in El Paso, and if he didn't, I'd like to know who you think he meant. Let us know in our App Chat on the KLAQ mobile app!
