The Foo Fighters are getting back to work!

Dave Grohl is definitely one of rocks 'type A' personalities.  He was in Nirvana, fronts The Foo Fighters, directs videos, makes movies, hangs out with Paul McCartney, writes ... deep breath .... and he's a helluva drummer to!

After The Foo Fighters wrapped up their Wasting Light tour in 2011, Dave said they were taking a well deserved break.  I predicted it wouldn't last long ... and it didn't. They recently went back into the studio to start working on a new release.  Guitarist Chris Shiflett had this to say last August:

"We actually just started making a new Foo Fighters record within the last few weeks." “We've started rehearsing. I knew we weren't done, but I just thought it'd be a little longer. But whatever – it's good. It's good getting back to work."

There's more good news Foo Fanatics, they're also ready to start playing live again! Check out this hilarious teaser for an upcoming show in Mexico City!

The trailer is done in typical Foo Fighter/tongue in cheek fashion with a nod to the opening scene from "The Song Remains The Same", a 1976 concert film by Led Zeppelin.  A bicycle messenger notifies the members of Zeppelin that it's time to tour again.

Where the hell they came up with Erik Estrada, I couldn't tell you.
