The band has been teasing fans for a while now, promoting a big announcement regarding the "Psychotherapy Sessions". Now we finally know what those are ...

Turns out the Psychotherapy Sessions are actually tour dates and Texas, as well as our neighbors New Mexico and fellow desert dwellers Arizona, made the list.

After 14 years, Mudvayne are finally headlining a tour and the support acts are definitely going to help make for some psychotic evenings. Joining Mudvayne will be Nonpoint, Butcher Babies, Coal Chamber and GWAR.

That's the good news, the bad news involves the Texas dates - they're super far away from El Paso. Since the lone star state is so HUGE, Phoenix is actually closer than the Texas tour dates in Dallas and The Woodlands.

On the upside though, Albuquerque is an easy road trip from El Paso, being only 266 miles, (a 4 hour drive or about a 45 minute flight) from El Paso.

Mudvayne reunited in 2021 for some festivals and toured with Rob Zombie in 2022. Now, in 2023, they get top billing as they roam the country in July and August. The Albuquerque date is August 15th and they will hit Phoenix on August 16th.

See all the tour dates and get ticket info here. A statement from the bands drummer, Matt McDonough, read like this:

An Event. On the Horizon. Over 25 years in the making. Brave travelers…You, and the alien seed — MuDvAyNe. A journey begun. Reaching Zenith. Now for the Eschatology.
