I'm not going to lie, I was actually hoping Rage Against the Machine was going to postpone their tour again. I'll get to that in a minute, but if you haven't seen yet, Rage has decided that 2021 isn't the right time for their return yet. So they've pushed back their tour to 2022. Here are the updated dates for the Borderland.

  • El Paso - Don Haskins Center - March 31st, 2022
  • Las Cruces - Pan American Center - April 2nd, 2022

So, here is why I was hoping that they would postpone again. First, I'm still not 100% sure I'm comfortable being crammed into an arena with that many people. I know vaccines are being rolled out and things are looking up, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to go do that yet.

Also, there's a bigger backstory here. Shim and I have talked about Rage Against the Machine being that band that we both have not seen but need to see on Rockstar 101. CLICK HERE to check out Rockstar 101 by the way. We were just talking about this show too. It was starting to stress Shim out. Getting to the show isn't so easy for him. He's down in Australia, so it's a big task for him to get here. It's not easy under normal circumstances. It's only gotten more difficult since COVID-19 shut the world down. Now we can take a breath and relax, without having to stress out about how Shim is going to get here to the States.
