This week there is an emphasis on NEW: new releases, new music videos & new debuts on the show. On the local side we will hear the first new song AT AT has for 2022; they'll have more stuff coming out in the summer/fall.

(here's a song from their previous album 2020 Visions that HAS been played on Q Connected before)

From Alamogordo, New Mexico, we have Go Axe Alice making their debut on the show. They have a new album coming out June 4th, that was mixed & mastered by fellow El Pasoan & metal head, Disturbed's John Moyer.

We also have El Paso's own late night host, who is an amazing musician & a dear friend of mine, Julio Ortega, who recently made a new video for his song "Til I Met You". You might recognize the drummer featured in the video...

We also have The Deep Shadows, TheOdicy, Griefcase & many more.

On the national side we will hear three artists that critics have been saying all have "breakout" singles:

Motionless In White, their 6th album "Scoring The End of the World" drops June 10th.

Former The Voice season 2 runner up Juliet Simms who now goes by the name Lilith Czar,

and Turnstile, whose 2021 album, Glow On, which many people regarded it as one of the best rock albums of 2021, including SPIN.

We will also hear the return of one of the BIGGEST emo bands from the mid 2000s... My Chemical Romance.
