New Mexico police are looking for a man accused of killing his wife and four daughters in their Roswell home Saturday.

The Roswell Police Department is looking for Juan David Villegas-Hernandez, who is suspected of killing his family and fleeing in his car.

Roswell police spokesperson Todd Wildermuth said that police responded after a relative found the family late Saturday. The relative went to check on them and discovered that the family had been shot. They believe the shooting occurred earlier in the day on Saturday,

Police are working to identify the bodies but suspect they are the family of Juan David Villegas-Hernandez. Police say that Juan David Villegas-Hernandez and his wife have four daughters together.

Police are currently looking for Juan David Villegas-Hernandez. They believe Villegas-Hernandezmay be driving a red, four-door Ford pickup truck. The truck has a New Mexico license plate KJS479.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Villegas-Hernandez is being asked to call the Roswell Police Department at 575-624-6770.
