Patrick Mahomes is an MVP, Super Bowl winning quarterback. But he's just done something that really put him high on my list of great guys. In case you didn't know, Mahomes was born in Tyler, TX and went to school at Texas Tech. So he's deeply rooted in Texas.

Something Mahomes is a big fan of is Whataburger. I mean, c'mon. He's from here. Went to school here. It seems only proper, right? Here's a Twitter conversation between Mahomes and Whataburger.

Well, did it work? Let's find out...

In a statement Saturday, Whataburger officials said: “We are excited to hear we have so many fans in the Kansas City community, and we have been exploring this area. At this time, we have no specific plans to announce a restaurant but will be happy to share when — and if — the time is right.”

So there you go Kansas City, you're could very well get one of the greatest things on this planet. Whataburger Spicy Ketchup. Whataburger has locations in other states, including:

  • Alabama
  • Arizona
  • Arkansas
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Louisana
  • Mississippi
  • New Mexico
  • Oklahoma

By the way, I feel I need to let people know this who live near Whataburger and want to get Whataburger. Order through the app. Seriously. When I go to get Whataburger for my family, I order it through the app, then go pick it up. No wait time, except for the amount of time it takes them to come out , get your name, then go get your food. But it never fails. Every time I go, there's a huge line of cars from people ordering at the drive thru.
