Texas Man Sues Whataburger For $1 Million – Guess Why?
One of Texas most beloved contributions to the world, Whataburger, is being sued for $1 million dollars by a guy in Texas over a goofed up order.
When it comes to fast food, the best burger joint ever was born in Texas. Whataburger first opened up 75 years ago in Corpus Christi and was a "Texas only" thing for quite awhile. Now you'll find that big orange W in 16 states.
If this guy has his way, a few onions may set 'em back a cool mill.
A Texas man ate at a Whataburger restaurant ... which one isn't made clear but the guy is from Harris County so I'm guessing that's where it was ... and found onions on his burger. He says he requested no onions, got sick because he got onions and now feels like he's got a payday coming.
What Made Him Sick?
He had an allergic reaction to the onions and required medical attention. Question: How long does it take to figure out you're eating onions? The ones Whataburger uses are served raw and have a pretty powerful taste. They're almost too strong.
Assuming this guys taste buds are so messed up he can get get a whole burger down without noticing onions, why wouldn't he look at it first? They're pretty easy to spot. Personally, I think he's full of ... onions.
