Odd Records Showing That Things Really Are Bigger In Texas

They say that things are bigger in Texas and, for the most part, that is a true statement. Some are so big they set world records.

Texas has got some pretty big things scattered all over it. The biggest cowboy boots in the world can be found in San Antonio. We've even got big ... nuts. Seriously, the biggest nut in the world, Buzz Adams notwithstanding, is in Humble, Texas.

El Paso can claim the biggest military training area and, also right here in El Chuco, you'll find the largest urban park in the USA.

We've got things so big, they're actually in the Guinness Book of World Records. The aforementioned cowboy boots are in there along with the worlds largest Bowie knife.

The largest parade of Harley Davidson motorcycles is 3,497, was achieved by Adam Sandoval (USA) in Paris, Texas, USA, on 5 October 2019.

Nothing says Texas like a good Frito Pie and, in 2012, Frito Lay made the biggest one ever using 635 bags of Fritos, 660 cans of Hormel Chili, (no Beans), and 580 bags of shredded cheddar cheese. It made 5,000 individual servings.
