Supercross rocked Canada this weekend ... in more ways than one!!

This weekend, Supercross took the party up north to Toronto.  The riders brought a warm up act with them this week ... SLASH!!  2 of my favorite things; loud guitars and motorcycles!  I wish I could have gone to this one!  He 'revved' the crowd up with his take on the Canadian National Anthem.  Being, shall we say, a tad unfamiliar with this tune; I'm going to assume he nailed it!!  Sounds cool anyway, check it out!!

Oh yeah ... there was a race also!  Villopoto made it look easy again this week; taking the checkered flag and pulling even farther ahead in the points race. He's got 271 ... 79 points ahead of second place.  (That would be my man Dungey. He's racing injured but is still a solid second with 192!!)

Bubba had to sit this one out as he's still recovering from last weeks crash!  See the rest of the points and results below!!

It was a very "Canada" weekend.  Supercross went there and The Veer Union came here to rock us!  (They tore it up at Speaking Rock Saturday; after hanging out with me on the air.  I'll post that interview later this week in case you missed it!!)   Next thing you know I'm going start liking hockey and beer.  Wait, hold on ... already on those!!

Moving right along ...

The Cremators MC held a benefit run here in El Paso yesterday to raise money for the family of Ann Marie Estrada.  (She passed away after a battle with cancer.)  Once again, the El Paso biker community opened their hearts .. and wallets .. to lend a hand.  Thanks to everyone; clubs, independents (and even a few strangers we picked up along the way) and more non bikers alike who supported the cause!  I got somepictures, but they're all potentially embarrasing to folks.  Mostly me so I'm still debating posting them here ... I'll get back to you on that!!
