It is finally here!! The 2012-2013 NBA Season!!

The boys are back for yet another exciting season (is it me or is it hot in here?)with a home opener. Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh along with the rest of the Heat players are ready for game one (a rematch of last season's Eastern Conference Finals) against the Boston Celtics. But wait a minute ... we have Ray Allen now; whom after being with the Celtics for five years made the switch over to the Miami Heat.

Starting with the ring ceremony where Lebron James is finally going to get his very well deserved Championship Ring along with the rest of the team. Also, the raising of the Championship Banner and the world premiere of the player introduction video (which I can't wait to see.)! Here's a sneak peak:

The Miami Heat (WOOO!!! Go HEAT!! ... sorry) will be welcoming the new season at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. There have been a couple of upgrades in the arena, different looks here and there, more concessions and bars too (good ... more beer). Speaking of changes ... it is being said that the Miami Heat will introduce new uniform designs during the 2012/2013 season having to do with the "White Hot" theme!

Jason Terry is coming off the Celtic's bench and Jeff Green is back after having heart surgery. Celtics remaining what 'was' their Big 4 Rondo, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are pumped and ready to go (wonder how this is gonna go since now Allen is with the Heat; they haven't really talked to him since the switch).

Game starts at 6:00 PM, so lets start getting everything ready; get those plastics on the floor, lid-covered cups and the dog-gates up ... what? That's what Dubba G does - something about it being safer. Guess that explains why we've only gone out once to watch the game.  (And possibly why Vic at the northeast Wing Daddys always wants to know whether or not I'm coming when he hears that Glenn's stopping by.)

Well, I leave you with this awesome video called "The Crown", which documents the 2nd NBA Championship for the Miami Heat.
