Mesilla Restaurant Writen Up In New Book

The world's biggest green chili cheeseburger awaits you in nearby Old Mesilla.

Pepper's Cafe, located inside the Double Eagle restaurant, sells it and it just got them a spot in the Ultimate Green Chile Cheeseburger Bucket List by Barbe Awalt. According to the Las Cruces Sun - News, it's:

available from Rio Grande Books via Amazon.com, the book lists 99 New Mexican green chile cheeseburgers from all over the state but reserves a 100th spot for “Make Your Own”. A number of green chile and burger websites are listed as well as several pages of “Near Misses” showing restaurants which didn’t quite make the cut but still are worthy of a visit.
