So this movie wasn't good. I get what they were trying to do, but it just wasn't very good. So as a public service, I'm just gonna tell you what happens.

***SPOILER ALERT***

The virus is out, turning people into zombies, but not all Hell has broken loose. They basically take anyone who is bit to these compounds to take care of the problem. So Arnold's daughter is bit, but he takes her back home. It goes through a bunch of emotional stuff, including talking about her real mom -- who is already dead -- and it's not done very well.

Arnold struggles with how he's going to take care of the problem when his daughter dies, and comes back as a zombie. He can send her off to one of the compounds, give her this injection that'll kill her (which it's said is horribly painful), or he can make it quick, and shoot her in the head.  Should be an easy decision right? Apparently not.

So there's a lot of awkwardness around the daughter because, yeah, she is going to turn into a zombie. At the end, Arnold sees she doesn't have much time left, so he grabs his shotgun and ends up falling asleep with it in his lap in the living room. His daughter comes downstairs, sees this, and then goes out and jumps to her death, so he doesn't have to do it. And the final scene is her and her mom running through a daisy field.  Then the credits roll and you're upset you just spent that much time watching this.

There ya go.  You're welcome.  I just saved you some time that could be better spent on anything from cleaning the base of your toilet (you know, the part that you only clean when someone's coming over and you're gonna get lucky), to organizing your email.  Either of those tasks are more enjoyable than Maggie.
