A local photographer, Jorge Salgado is using his passion to help out our community during these tough times. Despite the generous donation from Mackenzie Scott, he still wants to help push donations towards El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

Jorge Salgado has a heart of gold for wanting to help out families that are not able to have a good meal. I am sure you have seen his photographs he has taken of all sorts of events around El Paso, Texas.

Salgado made the decision to use his photographs of places that we love to visit in El Paso for a 2021 calendar. He had shared his heartfelt message on Instagram about wanting to help his community and a local organization.

If you follow Salgado on his social media you know he's always capturing magnificent photos of El Paso or even time-lapse videos during bad thunderstorms.

Since the first round of 2021 El Paso calendars were released, they have been a hit. In fact, so much of a hit that he sold out but plans on printing another batch.

From his first set of 2021 calendars, he was able to donate (thanks to some of you) was $540.00 to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.

I have been seeing people share their copy on social media. Each photo for every month in the calendar is a familiar spot you've visited or seen. The calendar is saddle-stitched is 8.5x11 that has 28 colorful pages inside.

For every calendar purchase made, $1 will be donated to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank. The donation made from your purchase is in honor of the August 3, 2019 victims. Having a calendar around the house sure does help keep all your plans organized.

You can get a sneak peek of the calendar in the photo below. This beautiful masterpiece of our Sun City is worth getting for your home or as a gift that helps out our community.
