Local Musician Opens Music School And Recording Studio

Roger Argenis, singer and guitarist for El Paso's Aerial, is one of the owners of the new Sound Stage 9.

Sound Stage 9 is located at 11601 Pellicano, suite E5 on El Paso's east side. It's not just for recording or practicing. Sound Stage 9 is a full on music school, offering courses in guitar, drums, piano and vocals along with classes for up and coming techno, DJs, and rappers.

Argenis told me:

The reason we decided to create Sound Stage 9 is because we felt it was something El Paso could really benefit from. The city is growing and we felt it was the right time to bring something like this to El Paso and contribute to the music scene. We hope to develop the next generation of El Paso's musicians.
