Balloons Fill Sky at KLAQ Balloonfest 2012 [PICTURES]

Balloonfest 2012 has officially started, with the first balloons taking off from Santa Teresa Country Club at 6 a.m. and the party is getting underway at Wet N Wild World RIGHT NOW!

The balloon launch went off without a hitch, with dozens of balloons, including the KLAQ and Spyder Pig balloons taking to the skies.

Hundreds of people came to Santa Teresa Country Club to watch the balloons take off, and they could be seen speckling the clear blue El Paso sky throughout the morning.

While the balloons were int he sky, people began gathering at Wet N Wild Waterworld, where gates opened in the morning. KLAQ is broadcasting live from the park RIGHT NOW, with Buzz and Stephanie the Corporate Computer Babe taking to the airways from the KLAQ booth.
