Keep Your Dog Safe During Fireworks Thanks To Pets Barn

As many dog owners know, the 4th of July holiday can be really scary for some dogs. The fireworks blasting off noisily in the sky can spook them, and dogs may run off from their homes in fear.

Owners can attempt to prepare for the scary holiday by making sure they take steps to help their dog deal with the noise and make it easier for their dog to be found if they do get out. Some of the ways they can help protect their pooch are by making sure their dog is microchipped, tagged, and inside the home during fireworks. You can also give a dog special medication to help calm them down.

Pet's Barn wants to do their part to make sure dogs are able to get back to their owner if they do get out by offering a discount on pet ID tags at local stores. According to their Facebook post, pets with up-to-date tags are more likely to make it back home safely if they do get out. Right now, you can get an engraved pet ID tag for only $1.99. This discounted price will expire July 3rd, right before the 4th of July holiday.
