UTEP QB McConnell Hosts Passing & Skills Camp at Canutillo High on Saturday
As the summer winds down, football enthusiasts in middle school and high school will have an opportunity to learn from one of UTEP's own. Cade McConnell, the Miners' redshirt junior quarterback, is hosting a Passing & Skills Camp at Canutillo High School from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, June 27.
McConnell, who threw for 1,437 yards and six touchdowns last season through six starts, is excited about working with local talent at the camp. He will be joined by other Division I players who will serve as coaches. The camp is designed for quarterbacks, wide receivers and defensive backs looking to elevate their game. There will be different stations to learn separate skills, along with lunch and t-shirts for each camper.
"I'm thrilled to launch my first camp and pass on my passion and knowledge of football to the next generation," McConnell said. "This camp is a fantastic chance for young athletes to hone their skills and get ready for their upcoming season."
The camp promises a comprehensive training experience, covering key aspects of the game and providing valuable tips from players who have excelled at higher levels.
