New Wet N’ Wild Waterworld Raft Ride, Tarantula Tailspin, Opens
There’s an all-new water ride at Wet N’ Wild Waterworld, the 60-acre homegrown water park just outside El Paso in Anthony.
It’s called the Tarantula Tailspin, and by all accounts, it’s a wet, wild, and visual experience.
Third New Ride in 6 Years
The addition of the Tarantula Tailspin marks the third big new attraction at the locally-owned waterpark in the last six years.
The 4-person raft ride the Condor’s Secret featuring a 30-foot drop and a near vertical wall made its debut in June of 2020, and prior to that, it was the six-story high raft ride Jaguar Falls in 2017.
What Is the Tarantula Tailspin ?
The Tarantula Tailspin is a double rider slide that sends riders twisting and turning down high banking corners into dual 360-degree downward spirals. If you thought the Condor’s Secret and Jaguar Falls were not for the faint of heart, wait until you slide down this all-new adventure.
Tarantula Tailspin also features aqua-lucent special effects adding a visual experience on the way down.
