What’s more, the decade has seen several beloved artists – such as The Mars Volta, Beardfish, Porcupine Tree and Pure Reason Revolution – regroup and release new music for the first time in years!

In fact, there are several artists whom you might expect to be here based purely on principle, but if we’re being as critical and honest as possible, their latest collections simply didn’t deserve to take these limited spots.
