Texas is a state that offers a lot of fun. Almost every part of the state has something special to offer. For example, Amarillo has the Big Texan, Arlington has Six Flags, San Antonio has the River Walk and the Alamo, Fort Worth has the Stockyards, and Katy has something new for entertainment.

There is a special mat you use to go flying down these slides.   As you can see above, they have a half pipe, called the Big Wave and a whirlpool-type slide, called the Royal Flush.   They have bumpy slides and slides that make you fly.  Most of these slides are the ones you would typically see at a water park.

15 Defunct Six Flags Over Texas Rides That Have Been Removed But Not Forgotten

These rides once stood proud and brought joy and terror, in some cases, to those who rode them at Six Flags Over Texas. These rides no longer exist at Six Flags Over Texas. Yes, The New Texas Giant is there, but The Texas Giant went through a complete remodel and redesign and received an upgraded steel track and has a new configuration, and is no longer like the OG, The Texas Giant.

Big Texan

The Big Texan is a sight to see, especially during the holidays. They know how to decorate. Even the bear that greets you at the front door likes to get into the holiday spirit.
