While many channels are giving you the gore and terror you want this holiday season, looking at you AMC FearFest, other channels, like FreeForm, offer family friendly programming. As the spooky season continues and Halloween programming invades your TV, there's one special you don't want to miss: "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"! However, because we are in the year 2020 and nothing can go right, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" won't be airing on TV this year!

Yup, you read that right, after 54 consecutive years, "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" Halloween special has been taken off the air! Who had this on their "2020 Disaster Bingo Card" and also, who saw this one coming? However, there is a way for you to be able to see the Halloween special this year.

The special has been moved exclusively to Apple TV+. If you are a subscriber to the streaming service, you can stream the special right now. Unfortunately, for the rest of us peasants who don't have Apple TV+, we can still see we just have to wait a little longer. The paid subscription service will be allowing non-members (that us, the peasants) to stream the Halloween classic for free- between October 30 through November 1. Wow, thanks Apple TV+!

Apple TV+ has snagged deals for all things "Peanuts". This includes new original series and specials: a second season of "Snoopy in Space" and the Peanuts gang celebrating Mother's Day, Earth Day, New Year's Eve and going back to school, according to CNN. This makes me wonder if other TV holiday specials from the "Peanuts" gang will be shown exclusively on Apple TV+? I'm not about to subscribe to another streaming service, I subscribed to Quibi and that was a bust.
