How Corey Taylor Bought a Bat Box from the Grim Wreather

As Halloween approaches, many people are looking to increase their Halloween crafts. For some, spooky decoration are a year-long thing.

Of course, if you remember MTV Cribs, you know rockstars usually will have homes decorated like something out of a high budget horror movie.

It is no surprise beloved rocker Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour has purchased some interesting home decor.

While scrolling through Facebook, I came across a photo of Taylor holding up an interesting piece of art. What I thought was just a canvas actually turned out to be a beautifully painted bat box, created by The Grim Wreather.

A few days after sharing this photo, The Grim Wreather hosted a Facebook Live, where I took the opportunity to ask how that purchase went down.

In the video, she shares how she was star-struck to see Corey Taylor in her inbox, asking to make a purchase. Once she got over the shock of the rockstar's admiration or her work, she made a deal with him for this unique bat box and happily reinforced the idea of Taylor being such a great guy to meet.

Now she doesn't only make bat boxes, she makes some killer wreaths I need to save up for. They are gory, bloody and beautiful!
