Oklahoma grandmother Jeanise Jones warmed the hearts of Borat fans around the world with her kind words to his daughter. Find out what she thinks of the film. After watching the new Borat sequel, "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm" you really start to lose faith in the American people. From a father at a debutante ball telling Borat how much he thinks his daughter is worth, people at a rally laughing while they sing "chop them up like the Saudis do," and just Rudy Giuliani in general, there are plenty of cringe-worthy moments in the film. But there is one person who stands out as a beacon of wholesomeness and whose pure heart shines through, and that's babysitter Jeanise.

Jeanise takes her time babysitting and getting to know Borat's daughter Tutar and teachers her that women can think, drive, become journalists and do anything they want. She also tells the girl that she should do whatever makes her happy and that she's beautiful without all the plastic surgery Borat wants her to get. While some realized the filming might be for something comedic, Jeanise had no idea she was trying to talk sense into a comedian filming a mockumentary. Since the movie debuted over the weekend on Amazon Prime, Jeanise has become the sweet grandmother we all wish we had, and she now knows her scenes were filmed for the comedy. Jeanise took to her Facebook account to acknowledge that yes, it's her in the movie:

Thank you to all who have reached out to me from here in OKC to around the entire world! Yes it was me in the Borat...

While Jeanise is humbled by all the praise she has received, her pastor has taken things a few steps further, trying to help the unemployed grandmother during a difficult time. According to Pastor Derrick Scobey on the website, Jeanise lost her job of 32 years due to the COVID-19 pandemic:

"Please consider giving a contribution to simply to say thank you to Jeanise for being 'A moral compass and a light shining in darkness' in this movie."

Pastor Scobey arranged a Go Fund Me campaign to assist Jeanise during her time of need. Currently, the Go Fund Me has raised over $8,000 and counting. According to the post, Jeanise has been praying for Tutar for almost a year, hoping she was in a better situation since she last saw her. Now that the movie is out, she can breathe a sigh of relief. After seeing how patient, kind-hearted, and genuinely good this woman is, she deserves every penny of money that is raised to help her. You can donate to Jeanise Jones here.
