Texas is sitting on a vast source of energy that could be used to generate heat and electricity ... for FREE.

The energy source sits in a "belt" that is about 10 - 15 miles wide and runs along the Rio Grande river in Presidio county which gives both the United States of America and Mexico access to, basically, free energy.

Harnessing it takes a little effort though which could mean good things for the area in terms of jobs and its economy as Presidio county is one of the poorest counties in the USA.

Geothermal energy is clean, renewable energy source that is produced naturally.

Geothermal energy is a renewable energy source because heat is continuously produced inside the earth. The United States of America is the largest producer of geothermal energy in the world and creating a geothermal energy plant in Presidio would be a huge boost to the areas economy. More jobs and lower energy costs would be among the benefits a plant would bring.

The plant could also sell excess energy it produces back to the grid, generating even more profits while taking it easy on the planet.

Their would be few security issues with the plant as it could be set up well into Texas and away from the international border. Mexico could build their own plant, on their side, and do the same thing.
