Gas Stations In El Paso Aren’t Cheap
We all keep a pretty close eye on the price of gas but have you ever wondered about the price of a gas station in El Paso?
If you have, you're either a wealthy entrepreneur or you're some kind of weirdo. I fall into the second category so, yeah ... I looked it up. I love the internet.
Honestly, I was looking for something else when I came across a gas station for sale in El Paso. Not just gas or pumps or equipment, an entire gas station. Several actually.
Ever dream of telling your boss to kiss off and going into business for yourself? Not me. Never. (He reads these things so ...) If you have, think you could run a gas station?
It's not like oh, say the 70's when all you had to do was hire a mechanic and pump gas for people. Check the tires, clean the windshield ... simple stuff. Very few gas stations are only gas stations these days though.
Most are attached to convenience stores which require a lot more skill to run than knowing to stop the pump at $10. Garages are more complicated too, you need a freakin' engineering degree to work on todays cars.
Still though, if you think you have what it takes, I found a few on the market here in the 915 and elsewhere in Texas.
Get ready for a little sticker shock, assuming these are still for sale, they are by no means cheap.
This one's on Central, priced at $800,000
Trowbridge and N. Clark, no price given.
Speedway's run a little more ... $4,150,000.
Opening soon and available for an even $5 mil.
Priced at a modest $2,300,000 in Tyler, Texas.
This mofo is a full on truck stop in Abilene, Texas and it's way up there at $23,000,000.
