Fort Bliss Will Present You Oktoberfest Next Month

A popular festival is returning again and traditionally starts on the third weekend in September. If you have never experienced Oktoberfest, Fort Bliss is the place to for that! I remember when I had checked out my first Oktoberfest at Fort Bliss and gave me an experience I will never forget. I remember there was a dude wearing this belt giving Jagermeister shots in your mouth. All the staff working the event even dressed the part and also lots of dancing.

This year Fort Bliss teamed up with Paulaner, a German brewery to make your experience realistic. Not only will they have German beer but some authentic German food to go along with it. Oktoberfest will kick off Friday, September 20 and wrap up on Sunday, September 22. You will also be given a commemorative stein when you arrive to celebrate Oktoberfest. This event is open to ages 18 and over but of course have to be 21 and over to consume alcohol.
