It was a terrifying scene in Far East El Paso that you may have seen circulating on social media.

The video shows an El Paso teenager firing a gun out of a moving car's window multiple times towards a neighborhood.

Now... 17-year-old Eduardo Antonio Robles is facing charges. There has been a string of teen gun violence lately, and El Paso Police are trying to do everything to curb it.

The arrest happened on Monday, February 20, one day after the video was recorded.

The police were notified of the video on Sunday, and an investigation was launched. The investigators identified Robles, and upon locating him, officers approached him while he was walking on the street in east El Paso. Robles attempted to flee and resist arrest; however, officers were able to apprehend him and take him into custody.

The viral video now has him facing a charge of Deadly Conduct Discharge of Firearm, but it doesn't stop there. Robles is also "facing additional charges of resisting arrest, search, or transport on top of his previous charge of deadly conduct for discharging a firearm in a residential area."

Police say he fired the pistol out of the window of the moving car toward a residential neighborhood, over on Pebble Hills Boulevard.

Police are thanking the community for providing information that led to the arrest of Robles. "This type of reckless behavior will not be tolerated in our city," El Paso Police said in the news release.
