El Paso Rockers Illum Return With New Single

Illum has been rocking El Paso since 2018 & they've been featured on Q Connected before & now... they're back with their first song for 2021.

Earlier this year Illum announced their former lead singer, Eric Chaffino stepped down from the band, but remains in good standings with the band, in February. Later on that month, they went on to announce that they found a new lead singer; David Herrera from the band Garden of Thorns out of Fabens TX & who took some time off from music to focus more on family. With a new lead singer, one would imagine they would have new music in the works... & they delivered last night. Illum did a Q&A on their Facebook, Instagram & YouTube page at 10pm MST as they debuted their newest single "Breathe", which they recorded themselves in their own studio called DarkSide Studios. The song was written by their new singer David & the lyrics were drawn from one's experience when going through a bad relationship.

In their Q & A, they hinted at the possibility of coming back in the summer with recording & releasing more new music (& music videos) this year as well as coming back to performing shows once more music is out. The new song became available on all music platforms shortly after the release of the music video & you can see the lyric video for "Breathe" right here:
