El Paso Rhinos Offer Free Tickets To Furloughed Feds

Another group is reaching out to assist federal workers going unpaid during the government shutdown.

Many groups and businesses have offered special deals and activities for furloughed federal workers. Many in El Paso and throughout the Borderland are currently not being paid due to the government shutdown even though many are still reporting for work as usual. This is creating hard times for these workers and their families as well as limiting their entertainment dollars.

A local loan company has offered interest - free loans to these workers and L & F Distributors is holding a free bbq for them today. (1/23) Now, the El Paso Rhinos are stepping up, offering free tickets to this weeks game to government workers!!

Very cool and classy of The El Paso Rhinos, these other businesses and many others who have tried to help their fellow Borderland residents through this tough time.
