Since the Christmas season is here & we're 2 weeks away from the most cheerful holiday of the year, we're going to hear the first batch of local Christmas music, with a twist: new songs from Epitaph Romance & Obscurity Within.

We'll also hear from The Lily Jacks, Romulus Wolf, Howard Roarke, New Mexico's Burning Sunday & much more.

We're also going to hear the brand new song from an artist that's been making a lot of buzz this year: Jelly Roll. From Nashville, Tennessee, the hip hop artist has recorded 16 albums & has collaborated with rappers such as Lil Wyte, Struggle Jennings, Tech N9ne & Ryan Upchurch. Jelly just put out his 17th album back on September 17th, Ballads of the Broken, & we'll hear his single "Dead Man Walking" that shows that Jelly Roll has a got a taste of rock & metal too.

And speaking of metal, you'll also hear the special fan track from Slipknot, which Corey Taylor as described as "BRUTAL". You'll also hear the new songs from Spiritbox, Zero 9:36, Memphis May Fire, Limp Bizkit & more.

If you have a band & you perform in or within 200 miles of El Paso, you can always submit your song for the NEXT Q Connected, right HERE or send me an email at daniel.paulus@townsquaremedia.com

Join me for Q-Connected Sunday nights, 10pm to midnight, on 95.5 KLAQ.
