El Paso Places President Joe Biden Needs To See On His Visit
As it was announced yesterday, U.S. President Joe Biden will be visiting El Paso this weekend on Sunday, January 8th. El Paso has always been a stop for many US presidents; we've had presidents visited here since 1891.
But we won't talk about politics here; instead we'll talk about what places Joe Biden needs to visit during his stay in El Paso. And I can certainly think of a couple of places in town.
Chico's Tacos
Come on, EVERYONE visiting El Paso has to try Chico's Tacos at least ONCE. It's a staple in El Paso's community so he must try the tacos when he gets here. Or...
L&J Café
It's a VERY popular spot for celebrities when they're passing through El Paso so that's another choice. He could also be the BIGGEST celebrity to visit L&J. (The US President is a HUGE celebrity).
UTEP/EPCC
I chose either because I think that would be an amazing thing for the staff & students at either UTEP or EPCC to get a chance to meet the President. Not many people can say that they did. If he stays for an extra day, til Monday, more people can have a chance to meet him. Also he needs to visit the Don Haskins Center & Sun Bowl so he can see our sports history.
Downtown El Paso
There's plenty of places to choose; he go to any of the restaurants, he can visit the San Jacinto Plaza,
the Plaza Theater,
Southwest University Park since Joe Biden IS a baseball fan,
Our studios
Can you imagine if Joe stays until Monday and joins any of the Morning Shows? Whether it's with Buzz or Mike & Iris? I'm just saying that would be must hear radio...
Other places he should visit? West Texas Chophouse, Mesa Street Grill, or any of our concert venues (since he vowed to get rid of additional charges from Ticketmaster) like The Rockhouse, The Lowbrow Palace, Speaking Rock or the Abraham Chavez Theater.
and of course he needs to see the Star...
Whether he visits here or not, welcome to El Paso Mr. President.
